Hot Tub and Spa Repair

Spa heaters, pumps, blowers and control packs repaired, plus the hookup and bonding a hot tub needs to pass inspection — done by the licensed electricians who do our pool work, not by a spa dealer's subcontractor.

Spa Repair And Hookup

A hot tub is a small pool with a big electrical problem attached. The heater, pump and control pack fail the way pool equipment fails, and the diagnosis is the same trade. The difference is the feed: a spa runs a large load in a wet location, which is where most of what goes wrong actually starts.

That is why the electrical license matters more here than the plumbing does. A GFCI that trips whenever the heater calls, a control pack that keeps failing, a tub that reads a fault the dealer cannot explain — those are usually the circuit, the bonding or the disconnect, not the board that got blamed.

  • Spa heater, pump, blower and control pack repair
  • Hookup, disconnect and bonding under EC13011994
  • GFCI faults traced to the cause rather than reset and left
  • Inspection-ready installs for new and relocated tubs

What We Handle

Five jobs cover almost every spa call. None of them has enough distinct demand to deserve its own page, so they live here.

Spa Heater Repair

No heat, slow heat, or a heater that trips the GFCI. Element, sensor, flow switch and circuit all tested before anything is replaced.

Pump & Blower Repair

Noisy or dead circulation pumps, jet pumps that will not prime, and blowers that have taken on water.

Control Pack & Topside

Fault codes, dead topside panels, and control packs that keep failing — which usually points at the feed rather than the pack.

Hookup & Disconnect

Dedicated circuit, correctly rated GFCI disconnect within sight of the tub, permitted and inspected.

Bonding & Code Correction

The bonding a spa needs and most retrofits lack, plus corrections for installs that will not pass as they stand.

How A Spa Call Runs

Step 01

You Describe It

Tell us what the tub is doing and what it reads — a fault code saves a visit.

Step 02

We Test The Circuit

The circuit, GFCI, disconnect and bonding get checked before any part is condemned.

Step 03

You Approve A Price

Flat rate, in writing, before any work begins.

Step 04

Repaired And Tested

The tub is run through a full heat cycle before we leave, not just switched on.

Hot Tub Questions

My GFCI trips every time the heater runs. Is the heater dead?

Often not. A heater element that has failed to ground will do it, but so will a wet or corroded connection at the disconnect, an undersized or shared circuit, or a GFCI that has aged out. We test before replacing, because the heater is the expensive guess.

Can you wire a hot tub I have already bought?

Yes. Dedicated circuit, correctly rated GFCI disconnect within sight of the tub, and bonding — permitted and inspected under our own license, which is what makes it insurable as well as legal.

Do you work on swim spas as well?

Yes. Larger load, same trade. The electrical requirements are stricter and the pumps are bigger, both of which are firmly inside what we already do on pools.

Do you use subcontractors?

No. We hold the pool, electrical and gas licenses, so the tech who shows up works here and the whole job runs on one invoice and one warranty.
