Repair And Installation, One Crew

Half of what we do is diagnosis: a breaker that keeps tripping, a circuit that runs warm, an outlet that stopped working and took three others with it. We trace the fault to its cause rather than replacing the device that announced it, because the device is usually the symptom.

The other half is capacity. Pinellas housing stock is old enough that a lot of homes are being asked to run loads the service was never sized for — an EV charger, a standby generator, a pool heater, a modern kitchen. That work is planned, permitted and inspected, and we tell you what the panel can carry before anything is ordered.

  • Permits pulled and inspected under EC13011994, never a subcontractor's
  • Flat-rate quote before any work begins
  • Emergency dispatch for sparking, burning smells and dead power
  • Every circuit tested and labelled before we leave

Also Handled, Without A Separate Visit

These are everyday jobs rather than projects. They are quoted on the same call and usually done the same visit, which is why they are listed here rather than given a page of their own.

Outlets & Switches

Dead receptacles, loose or scorched outlets, GFCI and AFCI replacement, and adding outlets where the room was built short of them.

Ceiling Fans & Light Fixtures

Fan and fixture replacement, boxes rated for the weight, chandeliers on high ceilings, dimmers and smart switches that work with the load.

Dedicated Circuits

A run of its own for a kitchen appliance, a workshop tool, a window unit or an equipment pad, sized properly rather than spliced into what is nearest.

Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors

Code placement by room, interconnected units, and the ten-year replacement rule most homeowners have never been told about.

More on these jobs: whether you can install a hardwired smoke detector yourself, what professional smoke detector installation costs in Florida, and why a ceiling fan remote stops working.

Emergency Electrical

Some faults do not wait for an appointment. If you can smell burning, see scorching around an outlet or panel, hear buzzing from the breaker box, or the power has gone out on part of the house while the neighbours still have theirs — turn the circuit off if you can reach it safely and call us.

After-hours dispatch runs for exactly these calls. A licensed electrician comes out, makes it safe first, and quotes the repair second.

How An Electrical Call Runs

Inspected under our own license, labelled, and warrantied.

Electrical Questions

How fast can you get out here?

Most Pinellas calls are same-day or next-day. Anything unsafe — sparking, a burning smell, scorched outlets, no power at all — is dispatched ahead of routine work, including after hours.

Do you charge a diagnostic fee?

There is a flat trip and diagnostic charge, quoted when you book. It is credited toward the repair if you approve the work on that visit.

Do you pull permits?

Yes, and they are pulled and inspected under EC13011994 — our own license, not a subcontractor's. Panel changes, service upgrades, generators and EV circuits all get permitted and signed off.

Do you use subcontractors?

No. We hold the pool, electrical and gas licenses, so the tech who shows up works here and the whole job runs on one invoice and one warranty.
